What is Contra?
Contra dancing is a wonderful combination of physical activity, mental stimulation, and social interaction, all in a spirit of friendship. The caller will guide you through the steps before & during the music.
Contra dancing is known for its welcoming atmosphere, and we value fun over technique.
No registration or partner is required; simply show up. Everyone is welcome at the beginners' dance from 6:30-8:00. Level 2 dancers will continue to dance from 8:00-9:00 (no extra charge).
Be sure to check our Facebook page for more videos. If we have to cancel a class at the last minute, it will show up there - not here.
